I just got an update all the mud work is complete on my tins and color will be going on today. I seen some pictures of the paint and it is going to look great, I can't wait to see it in person. Should be adding more pictures tonight or in the morning.

Finally Finished my Chopper

Well just in time for the show Sunday we got the bike done. Started it on Saturday but had some clutch and carb problems. Just as we decided to not put it in the show my friend pulled the carbs off his bike and man this thing fired right up. She was loud and fast. I have to take the words of my buddies Mike and Casey, they helped me build it. Since I had back surgery last week I have not been able to take it for a ride. They tell me the air bags do just what I wanted them to do and everything is good. Still having some clutch issues and a issue with it going into 5th gear but I think that is a linkage problem and not gear issue.
Mike said this bike has way more power and speed than his so that makes me happy LOL. Well it has been a long long time coming but it is a complete bike and even better I got my title and plates Saturday that is something that I have been worried about but went off without a hitch.
Will be fixing the issues this week and looking for a new set of carbs or rebuild mine but either way I need to solve that problem since tomorrow Mike is taking back his carbs LOL.
No rest we are jumping right into finishing the XS650 for Casey, paint and wire it up and then all 3 of us will be on the road. Oh yeah I need to get my motorcycle license they don’t play around in this state they take your ride and that wouldn’t be cool.

Here are some pictures from the show. Thanks everyone for all their kind words and help thru out this build, this has been a great place for help.

Some girl I don't know who she is but what the hell LOL

Here we are Mike Casey and I

And here are a couple girls on a bike next to us. There were many on that bike but we only got a couple.

And last here is a movie of the first time I was able to start it after the show, funny how about 5 rum and cokes make the back hurt less

Thanks everyone, yeah I really am glad how it turned out. now I have to get the carbs rebuild and some other small issues solved but they not much.

It feels really good to have it to this point after so long working on it and even longer wanting one. Going to look to have some air brush and pinstrip done also.

Thanks eveyone
